What does it cost to build a luxury home on the Gold Coast?
For architecturally designed custom homes on the Gold Coast, construction investment typically falls within the following ranges:
$7,500 – $9,100 per m² for a luxury lowset (single-level) home
$7,800 – $9,800 per m² for a luxury highset (two-level) home
Steel framing adds about 10%. Brisbane adds about 15%.
Example: A 600m² lowset luxury home is typically $4.5M to $5.5M, depending on design, structure and finishes. Rates include GST. They exclude land, demolition, pools and landscaping.
